I've been thinking a lot about the role the community played in the aftermath of Jamie Antcliff's tragic death. It’s clear from everything I've read and heard that she was deeply loved by those around her. Her long career at LAFCU, where she climbed the ranks over 20 years, speaks volumes about her dedication and the respect she earned from her peers. Her friends described her infectious smile and kindness, which left a lasting impression on everyone she met. I can’t help but appreciate how the community rallied around her family during such a devastating time. Hosting a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Isidore Catholic Church shows how many people cared deeply for Jamie and wanted to honor her memory. It must have been comforting, in some small way, for her loved ones to see that support and know they were not alone in their grief. I truly hope Jamie’s family finds some peace and healing, even as they continue to process such an unfathomable loss. Her memory will undoubtedly live on through the lives she touched.
