Does anyone know if there are any businesses or homes with security cameras near the 1900 block of Stafford Avenue NW? It makes me wonder if investigators have checked for footage from that night. Even a brief glimpse on tape might help piece together the timeline or provide clues about any vehicles involved. It's hard to imagine the pain Artemio's family is going through right now, having lost someone so young and full of life. Let's hope every angle is being explored so his loved ones can find some peace and justice. I've been following the case of Artemio Zacarias-Ortiz and Victor Alfonso Bustamante-Meza. What really struck me about this tragedy is the location where it happened. The 1900 block of Stafford Avenue NW isn’t typically known for violent incidents. It’s hard to wrap my head around how such a senseless act of violence could erupt in what seems to be an unsuspecting neighborhood.
For those who live in or around the area, have there been any significant changes in the community since that night? Have there been increased patrols or community meetings aimed at addressing safety concerns? I can only imagine the community wants to feel secure again.

I’ve been following the case of Artemio Zacarias-Ortiz and Victor Alfonso Bustamante-Meza and can’t stop thinking about the impact on their families. I can’t even fathom the pain they must be going through, especially in the communities where they were raised.
It's particularly unsettling that we're over a year in, and still no solid leads seem to have emerged. I wonder if the police have any theories that they’re keeping close to the vest or if they’re genuinely stumped? It’s so important for anyone who might have seen or heard anything that night to speak up.
The void left in the lives of Artemio's family is immeasurable. The warmth and laughter he presumably brought to his family gatherings will never be the same, and it’s heartbreaking to see a vibrant life cut so short. We can only hope that the continued efforts of the investigators will lead to some resolution and provide the family with much-needed answers.
