I can't stop thinking about how much Alan loved his car—just goes to show how everyone's going to remember unique things about him. I read that he took real pride in keeping it spotless and running like a dream. For someone who put that much care into the small details, I can't imagine the fear he must have felt during the home invasion. It's troubling to think that such a careful, loving person was taken from his family in such a brutal way. Alan deserved so much more, and his family deserves answers. It's so hard to understand why these things happen, but I hope the community can rally together and help the police find those responsible. His loved ones need peace and justice.
