I can't stop thinking about how Tony's death happened on his 50th birthday. It's utterly surreal and adds so much to the tragedy of the situation. Just imagining the pain his family must feel is overwhelming, especially so soon after the loss of his mother. Birthdays are supposed to be times of celebration, and instead his loved ones are left with unimaginable grief. Does anyone know if there was something specific about that day that made them more vulnerable to this attack? The fact that the police seem to think it was a targeted shooting makes me wonder what the trigger for this horrific event was. My heart goes out to Tony's family and friends, especially Jerome, who spoke so beautifully about him. It's clear Tony was deeply loved and will be terribly missed by everyone who knew him. If only the community could rally around his family and provide any information that might help solve this senseless act.
