It’s so frustrating and sad to see Marcell Ross's case still without a suspect over a year later. I recently came across an article about community-led efforts to keep Marcell’s story in the public eye, and I think this is such an important initiative. The power of community awareness and support can be crucial in bringing attention to unresolved cases like this one, especially when official leads seem to hit a dead end. In the piece, there was mention of local groups organizing vigils and dedicating spaces for people to share any memories or information about that night on Dallas Avenue. I can’t help but feel for Marcell’s family and friends dealing with this. I hope that some form of justice or closure comes for those left grieving. Does anyone know if organizations like Crime Stoppers or other advocacy groups have picked up Marcell’s case? Keeping the pressure on can sometimes open doors. It’s a reminder of how vital community support is in fighting for justice.
