I’ve been following the tragic case of Freddie James Lusk and Tony Dwayne Vaughn, and something has really stuck with me through all this—the emotional testimonies from their families during the sentencing of Deiontreay Darrell Craft. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache they must have felt having to relive those painful moments in court. The bravery it took for them to stand up and speak about their loss shows incredible strength. It’s a somber reminder of the deep impact gun violence has on families and communities. My thoughts are with everyone affected.
