I've been thinking a lot about the neighbor whose house Andrew shot into before he turned the gun on himself. It must be incredibly traumatic for them, especially knowing that Andrew was going through such a difficult time. I can't imagine the fear and confusion they must have felt in the moment, and the tough emotions they're probably dealing with now. It’s possible they were the last people to interact with him, even indirectly, and that’s a heavy burden to carry. I really hope they have access to the support and counseling they might need. Traumatic events like this can have a lasting impact, and it's important for everyone affected to have a chance to process their feelings in a healthy way. This tragic situation speaks to the ripple effect of mental health struggles and how communities need to unite to support one another. My heart goes out to everyone in Spruce dealing with this tragedy. Let’s continue to spread kindness and compassion in honor of Andrew and anyone else who might be silently fighting their own battles.
