Did anyone else find it puzzling how quiet the neighborhood was about the entire incident with Thead Grayson? We often hear about communities rallying together after a tragedy, offering support and sharing information to help solve the case. Yet, with Thead's death, it feels like more questions were left unanswered than addressed. What intrigues me is how quickly things seemed to die down after the initial investigation. I was reading an old article that mentioned Grayson was well-liked by those who knew him. He had lived in Harriston for quite some time. So, why does it seem like there was a wall of silence surrounding this case? Were folks just too scared, or was there something more sinister keeping people from speaking up? Sometimes silence can speak louder than words. I feel deeply for Thead's family, who must have been left in a whirlwind of confusion and disbelief. Decades later, it's still disheartening to think that they didn't get the closure they deserved. Anyone care to chime in on the lack of community response or know stories that haven’t made it to the public eye?
