I was reading about Robert's case, and something that's been on my mind is the weather conditions that day. Does anyone know if there were any storms or rough seas reported between King Cove and Sand Point when Robert went missing? I've heard that area can be pretty treacherous, and if the weather was bad, it might have made it even more difficult for searches to spot anything. Any insights would be appreciated, especially from anyone familiar with the local conditions there. It’s just one of those things that makes you wonder if it played a part in what happened.
I can't stop thinking about the weather conditions the night Robert disappeared. Reports mentioned rough seas and strong winds in the area. Has anyone looked into how those conditions might have impacted the search efforts? I know the Coast Guard usually does an amazing job, but I wonder if visibility was compromised or if the waves made it too dangerous to cover certain areas effectively. It just seems like such an unforgiving environment, and I'm curious if anyone has experience with search and rescue operations in similar situations. Could these factors have led to delays or areas being missed? Keeping Robert and his family in my thoughts.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Robert’s disappearance from the fishing vessel Hunter and something’s been nagging at me. I was looking into the weather conditions on the route between King Cove and Sand Point the day he vanished. Apparently, there were some pretty rough seas and strong winds. It makes me wonder if there was any radio communication from the boat reporting issues or if there were any other vessels nearby that might have observed something. Does anyone here have experience with that area or know where to look for marine communication logs? It seems like understanding the environmental factors leading up to his disappearance could shed some light on this. Thoughts?
