Does anyone have more info on the weather conditions in the Barnanof Island area around the time Lloyd's plane went missing? I know that part of Alaska can have unpredictable weather, and I'm wondering if a sudden storm or heavy fog might have contributed to this tragic incident. The region is known for rugged terrain that can complicate search efforts, too. Hoping the search teams have some luck soon—my thoughts are with the families.

Does anyone have more information on the weather conditions in the Barnanof Island area around the time Lloyd's plane went missing? I'm trying to piece together what might have happened. I read that Sitka can have unpredictable weather, especially around the mountains. Wondering if that's a factor here or if there's been any official record of poor visibility or storms on that day. Any insights from locals or those familiar with the area's weather patterns would be super helpful!

Hi all, I’ve been following the news about the missing aircraft near Sitka, AK, and I can’t help but wonder about the weather conditions at the time. Barnanof Island is known for its unpredictable weather, right? I’ve read that sudden fog or storms can really complicate aviation in that area. Does anyone know if there were any significant weather abnormalities reported around the time Lloyd and the others went missing? I feel like the more we know about what they were up against, the better we can understand how such a baffling situation could occur. Stay safe, everyone.
