Has anyone heard any updates about the search efforts for Joseph? I keep thinking about how often accidents happen out at sea, and yet it never feels any less shocking. My cousin works on a fishing boat, and he always talks about how quickly things can turn dangerous with just a moment of inattention or unexpected bad weather. It makes me wonder if conditions were rough that day or if there were any issues with the equipment on the Jeanoah. It’s just so tragic for the family not to have closure. Keeping them in my prayers and hoping they find some peace.

Hey everyone, I’m new here and have been reading through the threads about Joseph’s case. Something that caught my attention is the lack of life jacket requirements on some of these fishing vessels. I read that Joseph fell overboard from the Jeanoah, and I can’t help but wonder if a life jacket could have made a difference. It’s tragic how so many fishermen are lost at sea without any way to stay afloat. Does anyone know if the Jeanoah had life jackets available on board, or if Joseph was wearing one at the time? It seems like such a simple precaution that could prevent a lot of these accidents. Curious to hear others’ thoughts!
