Has anyone else been thinking about how the testimonies in Billy Scott Bishop's case highlighted just how tangled up everything got because of the drugs? It's just so sad to see lives pulled apart like this. It feels like the chaos kicked off because of all the meth and weed involved. I can't help but think of all the “what ifs” — like, what if they weren't using drugs? Maybe things wouldn't have escalated to such a tragic point. Reading about Kimberly Gentry firing that warning shot gives me chills. Imagine being in that room, trying to stop a fight in such a tense atmosphere. And then to see it go so wrong, despite trying to intervene. It's such a harsh reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control when substances are at play. I hope anyone who knew Billy finds some peace in the coming years. ?️
