I just can't stop thinking about how incredibly difficult the court proceedings must have been for Geraldine’s family. I read that both sides of the family were present during the trial, which must have amplified the emotional atmosphere in the courtroom. To have to sit there and re-live the details of such a traumatic event, all while facing a loved one who is now behind bars, is unimaginable. It’s admirable that some family members were able to show up, supporting each other in the midst of such sadness. I hope they found some measure of peace or closure through the justice process, as hard as it must have been. My thoughts are with all of them during this time.

I’ve been thinking about how difficult this must have been for the Mannings' daughters, especially the one who discovered her mother's body. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma she went through. I've heard that witnessing such distressing events can have long-lasting effects. Does anyone know if there was ever any update on whether they received counseling or support afterward? I really hope they found some way to cope and heal through this incredibly tough situation. My heart goes out to them and the entire family. It's so unfair how domestic violence touches so many innocent lives.
