Wow, just came across this case and can't stop thinking about the crew members of the Seledang Ayu. Being lost at sea is absolutely terrifying. Does anyone know if there were issues with signal equipment or distress calls? I mean, you'd think there would have been more time to signal for help before things got this bad. It's so puzzling. Why have these kinds of communication breakdowns? Also, any news on potential recovery efforts? I've heard Dutch Harbor is a pretty treacherous area, especially with the weather conditions—it must be extremely tough on search and rescue teams too.
Has anyone found more details about Blaise's role on the Seledang Ayu? I remember reading somewhere that he was relatively new to the crew. Just thinking out loud, but I wonder if being less familiar with the ship might have made evacuating during the chaos more difficult. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been with the vessel grounding off Spray Cape during such harsh conditions. Does anyone know if his training would have covered scenarios like what happened? Hoping for more updates soon.
Did anyone else find it strange how there was barely any initial media coverage about Blaise's disappearance from the Seledang Ayu incident? I feel like situations involving missing persons, especially at sea, should get more immediate attention. It's been frustrating trying to gather detailed information. If anyone finds more news articles or updates, please share here; it would really help keep the conversation going and maybe bring more awareness to Blaise’s case.
