Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Pierre Tenner case and something that’s really been on my mind lately is the impact on his children and grandchild. Losing a parent suddenly, especially in such a violent manner, must be incredibly traumatic. And with the trial and everything being so public, it feels like they’ve been through so much already. I truly hope that, despite the immense loss, Pierre’s family, particularly his kids, have a strong support system around them. It’s tough enough growing up without a parent, but to lose one to such senseless violence must add layers of pain and confusion. For those who are in the Natchez area or know the family, do you know if there are any community efforts or any way the public can offer support? Thinking about the future they have ahead of them, it’d be great to hear if there are any positive steps being taken to help them heal and remember Pierre in the best way possible. If there's anything we can do from afar, please let us know. Keeping the Tenner family in my thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.

I've been following the Pierre Tenner case, and I can't stop thinking about the testimonies that were brought up during the trial, particularly concerning self-defense claims. It's hard to comprehend the fear and tension they all must have felt in that moment. But I also question how, with so many people stating different perspectives, it led Woods to believe he was out of options, even though the jury decided it wasn’t genuine self-defense. It’s difficult to imagine what must've been going through everyone's mind at that driveway. Doris Tenner, being stuck in such a tragic situation between her estranged husband and this man, is likely experiencing unimaginable stress and sorrow. My heart goes out to the entire Tenner family, especially to Pierre's children and grandchild who will grow up without him. I hope they find some comfort in the justice served, and that this verdict provides a little solace in their journey toward healing.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Pierre Tenner case closely, and something that stuck out to me was how the defense tried to frame it as self-defense. From what I've read, there was intense discussion about whether Casey Woods was actually threatened, but it seems like most of the community feels that it just doesn’t add up. It’s hard to see how using a 12-gauge shotgun on a person who is unarmed can ever be justified as self-defense. I can’t help but think about Pierre's family and the pain they must feel knowing that Woods will still potentially appeal and fight this conviction. It's troubling how these legal battles can drag on and continue to open wounds for the victims' families. My thoughts go out to his children and grandchildren as they navigate life without him. Anyone have more insight on what might go down with any appeals? Or thoughts on how the jury reached the second-degree verdict instead of first-degree? Curious to hear what y’all think. Stay safe out there.
