I’ve been thinking a lot about the scene where Jayla's brother was questioned by the police. It must have been beyond traumatic for him. Not only did he lose his sister, but he was suddenly thrust into this intense investigation environment at such a young age. I can’t imagine what he's going through, trying to process Jayla’s death while also dealing with the aftermath of being present when it happened. I really hope he’s getting the support he needs from counselors or community services. Does anyone know if there have been any updates regarding him, or if the local community is rallying around the family to provide some emotional support? It's essential that they have a network to lean on during such a difficult time. My heart truly goes out to Jayla’s family, especially her brother.
