I've been thinking a lot about Quardarius Tate, the nephew who found his aunt and cousin that awful morning. It must've been devastating to stumble upon such a horrific scene. I can't even begin to imagine what he's going through or how difficult it must be to cope with such a traumatic experience. It would not only be a terrible visual memory but also the emotional toll of losing family members in such a violent way. Hopefully, he’s found some support or counseling to help him in dealing with this tragedy. Did anyone from the community or family speak about how he's doing now, years later? It must be really tough to heal from something like this, especially with the case still being unsolved. I'm sending thoughts of strength to him and the rest of the family.
It's truly unsettling how this case has left so many questions unanswered for over seven years now. I can't even begin to imagine the pain that Barbara and Shawn's family must still be going through, not having closure or understanding why this happened. One part of this case that constantly weighs on my mind is the role of the rear door. The reports about evidence of forced entry but no clear signs have always puzzled me. Was the door unlocked or just loosely sealed, allowing someone to come in without making much noise? The conflicting stories about forced entry make me think there might have been more to that aspect than initially thought. Is it possible that someone who knew them had a key or knew how to enter without raising suspicion? It’s just baffling how this critical detail hasn’t led to more discoveries. I truly hope that with more time, someone will come forward with information that could finally bring justice to Barbara and Shawn. Keeping their family in my thoughts, always.
