Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on the day Yolanda went missing? I did a bit of research and found that the Bering Sea can be pretty treacherous, especially for smaller vessels. I wonder if there was some kind of unexpected storm or if the forecasts underestimated the conditions. I feel like understanding the environmental factors at play could give more context to what might have happened that day. Just thinking out loud, but could there have been anything she or the crew might have done to increase their safety, or was it truly unavoidable given the circumstances?
