Hey all, I came across Deborah A. Ross’s case recently and something that's really been on my mind is the fact that she was living on tribal land when she disappeared. The complexities of jurisdiction on tribal land can sometimes complicate investigations. Does anyone know if different agencies, like tribal law enforcement and local police, were involved from the start? I feel like coordination between the different authorities could play a crucial role in a case like this. It's also a real worry if this might've delayed some critical early steps in the investigation. Any insights or similar cases out there where jurisdictional issues were a factor?
