I was reading about the tragic case of Lakendris Chisholm, and one thing that really struck me was how close this violent incident happened to a daycare center. I can only imagine the fear and chaos that must have unfolded with such little ones nearby. Thankfully, none of the children were physically harmed, but it's just heartbreaking to think about the emotional impact on the kids, parents, and staff. It's always unnerving to hear about violence so close to places meant for nurturing and growth. Thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless act and hoping healing can somehow find its way to that community.
