Hey everyone, I’ve been following the updates on the missing fishing vessel Transition and I noticed something that’s been bothering me. I read that Vernon had been working on boats for years, but didn’t have much experience on the routes between Juneau and Ketchikan. With the unpredictable weather this time of year, I can’t help but wonder if this inexperience on that particular route could have played a factor in what happened. Has anyone local noticed any rough seas along those waters recently, or maybe know if the crew had any backup plans in place if the weather turned bad? Keeping Vernon, Michael, and all their loved ones in my thoughts.

Has anyone else been following the case of the missing fishing vessel Transition? It's so unsettling how it just disappeared without a trace. Vernon and Michael Dunne are both still missing, and it feels like the search efforts haven’t brought up any real leads. I read that the route between Juneau and Ketchikan is notorious for rough waters, but it's like they vanished off the face of the earth. Does anyone know if more experienced local crews have weighed in on what might have happened? It just seems eerie. Hoping for some sort of resolution soon.
