I’ve been thinking a lot about the crime scene and how eerie it must have been for the driver who discovered Manuel and Steven. I can’t even imagine what it must have felt like to come across such a tragic sight on a quiet rural road. It’s strange and unsettling that no one heard anything, considering the multiple gunshots. It makes me wonder if there’s more to the story about where the shootings actually took place. My heart goes out to their families; not having clear answers must be unbearably difficult. I hope the investigation gives them the truth they deserve.
I can't get Manuel Olivas and Steven Alex Smith out of my mind. It's just so devastating to think about how young they both were and how much life they still had ahead of them.
