I just read a bit more about Jacqueline Taylor’s case, and the details are truly unsettling. I keep thinking about how it all went down with someone just noticing an open door. It's almost like a scene from a movie, but sadly, it's all too real. It must have been horrifying for the person who found Jacqueline and Freddie. I hope that the community in Itta Bena is finding ways to heal after something so traumatic. There’s a small silver lining in knowing that the perpetrator, Stephen B. Williams Jr., is behind bars and won’t be able to hurt anyone else. I hope the families can find some peace knowing justice was served, even though it will never bring back their loved ones. They're in my thoughts.
