Does anyone have more details on the community efforts that were started in honor of Roy Holden? I’ve read that he was really involved with the Greater Bethlehem Temple and made quite an impact there. It's really moving to see how his life inspired others to take action against the violence in Jackson. I’m curious if any initiatives or gatherings have been held to remember him and promote peace in his name. It just goes to show how deeply he cared for his community and how much he’s missed. Any information on how the local leaders are carrying this forward would be appreciated. We need more positive stories like these coming out during such tragic times.

Reading about Roy Holden's life and his tragic end, I'm struck by the senselessness of it all. I keep thinking about how connected he was to his community, especially with his work at H and H Furniture Repair. It’s clear he had a positive impact on everyone he met. I wonder how his coworkers are coping with the void left by his absence. It’s hard to imagine the office without his laughter and presence. I can’t help but be curious about Robert Earl White’s motivation. Their relationship or any potential conflict hasn't been disclosed—were they acquaintances, or was there something more? It’s baffling how violence can erupt and lead to irreversible loss. Hoping the community rallying together finds some solace in honoring Roy’s memory and advocating for a safer Jackson. Keeping Roy’s family and friends in my thoughts. May we all strive to address the violence and make a genuine change.
