Has anyone else been following the tragic story of Anthony Ray Beasley from Jackson, MS? I recently read that on the night he was killed, another 14-year-old was also shot and survived. It’s so upsetting to think about what must have happened that night and why these young boys were in such a dangerous situation. One thing that's really sticking with me is the role of the community here. It seems like there's a consistent call from the residents for more action against the underlying issues leading to these incidents. I'm getting the impression that this isn’t an isolated event but indicative of larger problems with youth safety in the area. What do you all think could be done to better support and protect kids like Anthony? I’m all for community programs, but they need to be tailored to truly address the root causes. Also, if anyone has any updates on whether any leads have developed in this case, please share. It would mean so much to see some progress and justice for Anthony and his family.
