Has anyone else been following the vigil that was held for Demarkis Kelly? I came across some photos and comments from that evening, and it really shows how loved he was by his community. It’s so powerful to see people come together to support each other in such difficult times. Lighting candles and sharing memories is such a meaningful way to honor his life and keep his spirit alive. I can’t imagine what his family is going through right now, especially knowing he had kids who will grow up without their father. Seeing the community rally like this gives me hope that they’ll find strength together and maybe even be a catalyst for addressing the bigger issues, like gun violence, that affect us all. What are your thoughts on how these community gatherings can make a difference?
