I’ve been following the case of Caleb Gabriel Lett and my thoughts are with his family and friends during this unimaginable time. Something that's been on my mind is how young the suspect is. I can't wrap my head around a 15-year-old being involved in a crime like this. It makes me wonder about the influences and circumstances that led to such a tragic decision.

We've seen cases where juvenile offenders are charged as adults, but this one just feels so heavy because of both Caleb's potential and the age of the suspect. I truly hope that justice is served for Caleb, but it also makes me think about what can be done to prevent these kinds of situations in the future.
