Has anyone else been thinking about how this case really shines a light on the issue of underage drinking and access to firearms? As tragic as Mickell's death is, I can't help but reflect on how a 14-year-old even got their hands on both alcohol and a stolen gun. It's deeply upsetting to see how one bad decision, likely influenced by factors a young person should never have to deal with, changed so many lives forever. My heart goes out to Mickell's family and friends; losing a young man with such promise is just unimaginable. I hope this tragedy will serve as a wake-up call for everyone about keeping guns secure and the dangers of youth access to substances like alcohol. It's so important we work together to prevent future tragedies like this, so others don’t have to go through similar pain.
