Has anyone else been following the impact this tragedy had on Keli's older sons, Alliyano and Diovanni? I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma they're going through after such a horrific experience. It's inspiring to see that, out of immense sorrow, Keli's mother has become a passionate advocate for domestic violence awareness. But I hope there's also a strong support system for these boys. They’ve been through an unimaginable ordeal and will need all the love and support they can get. If anyone knows of resources or ways we can contribute to helping them heal, please share. They deserve a future free from the shadow of this tragedy.
I'm still trying to process the tragic loss of Keli Mornay and her baby boy, Brixx. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved them, especially her older boys, Alliyano and Diovanni. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma they endured—particularly Diovanni, who witnessed his mom and brother being taken away from him in such a senseless act of violence.
I recently learned that Keli's mom, Renata, has been speaking up about domestic violence since this happened. I really think it's brave of her to channel her grief into advocacy work. It's so crucial for communities to rally around educating everyone about these issues, so fewer families have to face this horror in the future.
For anyone looking to get involved, the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence frequently hosts workshops and support sessions. The more we learn and the more we support each other, the better equipped we'll be to help potential victims before their situations escalate to such drastic measures. If anyone has suggestions on how to further support these efforts, I'd love to hear them.
Does anyone else feel like there's so much we still don't know about this case? I'm really struck by how Keli's two older sons, Alliyano and Diovanni, managed to escape the situation. It's unimaginable what they must have gone through, especially Diovanni, who reportedly witnessed some of what happened. I'm worried about the kind of trauma they must be dealing with and hope they're getting the support they need. I can’t even fathom how difficult it must be to process all of this at such young ages. I truly hope they have a solid support system around them. It's so important for communities to rally around survivors of such tragedies, ensuring they receive the help and emotional care they deserve. Anyone have updates on how they're doing, or know of any resources being coordinated for their wellbeing?
