Has anyone else been following the updates on Derecus Conerly's case? I feel so incredibly sad for his family—what they must be going through is unimaginable. I was particularly struck by how close-knit the community in Walthall County seems to be and how deeply this loss has impacted them. I know the local authorities and the FBI are doing everything they can to find who did this, but it’s frustrating to see no arrests have been made yet. I heard that they offered a $20,000 reward for tips, so I hope someone comes forward soon. It’s just devastating that such a young life was taken so violently.
