It's just so devastating to hear about what happened to Deshun Anderson and Derrick Small Jr. at the Marie Lyles Meadows Apartments that night. I can’t help but think about the impact on their families and loved ones—losing someone so young and full of potential is unimaginable. It’s been days, yet I keep wondering how the local community is coping with this tragedy. I'm also concerned about how safe people feel in their homes after such an incident where literally dozens of shots were fired. It’s scary to think about how such violence shatters lives and peace in small towns like Crenshaw. I'm really hopeful that the law enforcement's efforts will bring some justice and maybe a bit of peace of mind to the victims’ families and the entire community. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone affected.
