Anyone else find it strange that there haven't been any solid theories about how Gilbert fell from the boat? I've been following this case closely, and it seems like there's hardly any discussion or speculation around what might have happened leading up to that moment. Was he alone at the time? Did anyone else see or hear anything unusual before the incident? With so many people fishing in Goodnews Bay, you'd think there would be more details or at least some rumors circulating. I just can't shake the feeling that there's more to this story, and maybe someone out there knows something that could help find answers for Gilbert's family. Thoughts?
Hey everyone. I've been following the Gilbert case and I can't stop thinking about those massive tides and strong currents in Goodnews Bay channel. Is anyone else familiar with the area or have experience fishing there? It just seems like such a dangerous place if you happen to go overboard. It makes me wonder if the local authorities have considered bringing in more specialized equipment for underwater searches given the conditions. Also, are there any updates from local search and rescue groups? Any insights or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I've been following the Gilbert case, and something's been on my mind. Does anyone know if there were any weather reports for the day he went missing? I've read that sudden changes in weather can cause serious issues for boats, even more so if you're alone. Maybe it could explain why his boat was having issues before he fell? Just a thought, and I’m eager to hear if anyone else found any info on this or has more insight! Stay safe out there.
