I’ve been thinking a lot about the way Wayne Fraser handled everything immediately after the shooting. It strikes me as incredibly odd that he called his boss and then Natalie's brother before contacting the police. That’s a decision that doesn’t sit right with me. It makes you wonder what his thought process was during those five hours. Was it panic, or was he trying to buy time to figure out a story? It's unsettling how this action seems to align with the prosecution's picture of him as someone reckless with a concerning disregard for human life. It’s devastating for Natalie's family to learn about this delay when it could have been handled so differently. My heart goes out to her loved ones who had to hear how it unfolded in such a painful way during the trial. Her being paraplegic makes it that much more horrifying to imagine her being left alone after such a traumatic event. I hope her family finds some peace with the verdict, though I know it can never truly undo the harm that's been done.

It's sickening how many red flags seem to have been ignored in Natalie's tragic story. I just can't wrap my head around how someone so educated and respected in her field, like Natalie, was suffering so much behind closed doors. It seems like she was always trying to protect others from truly seeing what was happening. How could someone as vulnerable as Natalie in her physical condition be left in such a dangerous situation? There needs to be more awareness and support for people who are silently suffering like she did. I can only imagine the grief and anger Natalie's family is feeling, knowing that she lived this nightmare. It's heartbreaking that her passion for teaching won't continue, but hopefully, her story can spur more action for victims of domestic violence. Sending all my thoughts to her loved ones.
