I keep thinking about the bravery it must've taken for William's friends and the other person who was with him that night. I can’t even begin to imagine what they went through witnessing such a horrific event and then having to recount it to the investigators. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time should never lead to such tragedy. It's a reminder of how fragile life is and how quick everything can change. From what I’ve read, William seemed like such a bright light in his community, so my heart is heavy for everyone who knew and loved him. I sincerely hope that as the legal proceedings move forward, those involved can find some sense of closure and peace, knowing that people are standing by them, seeking justice. Has anyone heard any recent updates about the trial dates for Renfroe and Triplett? It must be such a burden on the family and friends to have to endure the waiting and uncertainty.
