I’ve been thinking a lot about Sadie Doss, the woman whose porch Anthony Armstrong ended up on during his final moments. It must be incredibly difficult knowing someone fought so hard to survive, ending right on her doorstep. I can’t imagine what she is going through—haunted by that night and the trauma it brought directly into her home. While there’s been a lot of focus on Anthony and his family, which is absolutely deserving, I think it’s important not to overlook how others like Sadie are affected. Her experience is another layer of sadness in this tragedy. I hope she and all involved can find some peace as the legal proceedings continue. Does anyone know if there’s any community support for people like her who find themselves unexpectedly involved in such devastating events?

I've been thinking about Sadie Doss, the woman who found Anthony Armstrong on her porch. I can't even imagine the trauma she must have experienced. You're just minding your own business and then suddenly someone is there, desperately needing help. It's a heavy burden to bear, especially in a close-knit community like Derma where everyone seems to know everyone else. I hope Sadie is getting the support she needs to cope with this—it must be incredibly difficult for her, too. My heart goes out to Anthony’s family and friends during this time, but I also hope that we remember to check in on Sadie and offer her the support she may need as well.

I can't help but feel overwhelmed by the incredible strength of the Derma community in rallying together to seek justice for Anthony Armstrong. The way everyone has united, from the authorities to everyday residents, is nothing short of inspiring. I can't imagine the pain his family is experiencing, especially given the senseless nature of his death. I just read about how the U.S. Marshals and the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office worked tirelessly to apprehend Taurus Shaw. It must have been a slight relief when they finally caught him, but I know that's just one piece of a much larger puzzle. What's been really striking is how this tragedy has brought to light the importance of community support during times of unimaginable grief. Anthony's story has touched so many, and it's heartwarming to see the outpouring of love for him. Let's continue to support his family and friends as they navigate this difficult journey and hope the legal process brings them the justice and answers they're waiting for.
