Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Michael Cage, the 17-year-old who was killed in Jackson, Mississippi, and something has been weighing on my mind. I’ve read through the various updates and press releases, but one thing I’m curious about is the lack of witnesses or initial reports in the area. Wooddell Drive doesn’t seem like a deserted place, so how is it that nobody saw anything or heard the shot? I’ve lived in a similar neighborhood, and it’s hard to imagine not hearing a gunshot, especially in the early hours when everything is quieter. I know it’s possible that fear or distrust is preventing locals from speaking up, but I wonder if there might be surveillance cameras or ring doorbells that the police haven’t checked yet. Also, Cleveland Colbert and Operation Good have been doing incredible work, and I can’t imagine the frustration they must feel. Could they perhaps organize community meetings or a door-to-door outreach to gather anything that might have been missed initially? Maybe there’s someone who knows more but just needs a little encouragement to come forward. My heart truly goes out to Michael’s friends and family.
