Hey everyone, I was going through old cases and came across Michael Robinson's murder from 2011 in Chicago. Something that's been on my mind is the environment surrounding his community at the time. It's been reported that 2011 was particularly rough, with so many parts of the city heavily impacted by violence and gang issues. It makes me wonder about the long-term effects on those communities, especially the kids growing up in such neighborhoods. How do these traumatic events shape their perception of safety and trust? Michael's tragic death, alongside many others, seems to reflect a deeper societal challenge that desperately needs attention. Thoughts on what the community or city officials could’ve done, or still could do, to support these areas more effectively? It's awful to think of how many lives continue to be affected by this cycle. My heart goes out to his family and those who knew him.
