Does anyone else find it interesting how Radford's enforcement style was both his greatest strength and possibly what led to his tragic downfall? By all accounts, he was deeply committed to the law, but it underscores how thankless and dangerous the role of a lawman can be. So much weight on his shoulders—keeping the peace isn't just about upholding rules, but also navigating the tensions and hostility it creates. I can't help but feel for his family, particularly his wife and seven children. They lost someone who was so dedicated to his duty, and their loss is immeasurable. It makes you wonder if things might’ve turned out differently if there had been some sort of protection or support system for Radford. Just a thought I can't seem to shake.
