Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Brendan Mattingley's case, and something in the NTSB report caught my eye. It's about his last interaction with the taxi driver. When Mattingley reportedly told the driver, "Don't tell anyone where I am," it made me wonder about his state of mind and if he was planning something more than just sleeping in his plane. Was he trying to hide from someone or something? It’s one of those eerie statements that really sticks with you.
Also, the fact that the driver noted the remark, "You don't want to know," is so unsettling. It makes me think if there were underlying issues that nobody knew about. Could there be more to his disappearance than just a tragic accident? Maybe someone else involved that nobody knew about, or was it just alcohol playing tricks on his mind?
I’m really curious if there's been any more info on what he could have meant by that or if anyone closer to him noticed any unusual behavior before his flight. These little details leave so many unanswered questions.
Oh man, this whole situation is just baffling to me. I can't stop thinking about that cab ride Mattingley took the night he disappeared. What kind of state must he have been in to tell the driver, "Don't tell anyone where I am"? It's like there's this shroud of secrecy he seemed to want to maintain. Was he planning something, or was it just the alcohol talking?
Also, the fact that he chose to head back to the airport and sleep in his plane despite everything is kind of concerning. It seems like he wasn't in his right mind, but that phrase, "You don't want to know," just sticks out. Was he hiding from something or someone, or was it just a way to keep the driver from meddling? It's so strange and adds another layer of mystery to this already puzzling case. Anyone else have thoughts on why he might have said that?
