Does anyone else find it especially tragic how the Seward family never got a chance for closure until over a decade later with Coleman's execution? I can't even begin to imagine the pain and turmoil they must have gone through during those 12 years. Knowing that the person responsible for taking John and Roxie away was sitting on death row must have been such a heavy burden. It's such a heartbreaking reminder of how justice can take so long to be served. I always wonder how families cope with the endless appeals and the potential reopening of wounds at each turn. Has anyone here seen similar stories? How do families find peace in these situations?
