Hi everyone, I've been following Ardo Hernandez's case and can't stop thinking about the impact such a senseless act has on a family and a community. It's devastating to think that he was just at home, a place where we all should feel safe, and yet he was caught in the crossfire of a crime happening outside. I can't imagine the trauma his family went through, not only losing him but also being there when it happened. It just feels so random and unfair. What's really troubling is how these types of property crimes can escalate so quickly. I'm sure none of the perpetrators thought they'd end up taking a life that night, but it happened, and now multiple lives are ruined. This makes me wonder about the preventive measures our communities and city officials are working on to stop these crimes before they turn into tragedies. Does anyone know if there have been any initiatives in North Tulsa since this incident to improve neighborhood safety or to support the families affected by such incidents? I hope Ardo’s family is finding some peace now, and I really hope any efforts are genuinely reducing this kind of violence. It's just so important for communities to find ways to come together and ensure everyone's safety.
