I want to talk about the angle that Anthony’s murder could have involved someone he knew. The idea that there was no forced entry makes me think it was someone he trusted enough to let in. That detail just sticks out to me because it feels so personal and close to home. Anthony was battling stomach cancer—must've been already dealing with so much, and then to be taken away from his family so violently. My heart goes out to them as they try to come to terms with this senseless act.
Never met Anthony, but people who knew him paint a picture of someone really generous and kind-hearted. Being a master chef who worked for country clubs and helped needy people—he must have touched a lot of lives. The community in Forest Park is small and tight-knit, so I can’t imagine how rattled everyone must be.
I really hope someone who knows something will come forward. The family deserves answers. Just thinking of what his family saw when they walked in that day... it's haunting, and I can’t even begin to imagine their pain.
Just thinking about Anthony Lewis's situation breaks my heart. It baffles me that someone could harm a person who was already dealing with so much, like stomach cancer. Anthony's compassion for others, especially his efforts to help those in need, paints a picture of someone truly admirable. It makes me wonder about his connections—could his kindness have brought him in contact with someone untrustworthy?
No forced entry troubles me too. Did Anthony let someone in voluntarily, thinking they were a friend? This detail makes my mind race with possibilities, and it’s devastating to consider. Sending lots of strength to Anthony's family—it's unimaginable to process such a sudden and violent departure of someone you’re already emotionally preparing to say goodbye to due to illness. Hoping for answers soon to bring some sense of peace to this grieving family.
Hey all,
I've been following Anthony Lewis's case, and I can't shake the eerie feeling about the lack of forced entry. It seems likely that whoever did this was someone he trusted enough to let them in, which makes it all the more chilling. Anthony was clearly someone who gave a lot to his community, whether through his amazing culinary skills or his kindness in helping those who were struggling.
What's even more unsettling is the timing—his family was coming to pick him up for another funeral, and his own end was looming with his cancer diagnosis. It's so strange to think he was preparing to say goodbye on his own terms, only for his life to be violently cut short instead.
Does anyone else feel like there might have been more going on that we're just not seeing? Could it have been someone from his professional circle or maybe someone he'd helped in the past? It's baffling that there haven't been any leads. Sending thoughts to his family; they really deserve answers and closure.
Feel free to share any theories or info you might have; someone out there has to know something.
