Hey everyone, I've been following Sandra Stevens' case for a while now, and one thing that keeps nagging at me is the role of the roommates on the night she passed away. It's just so strange that one of them initially said he didn’t hear the gunshot only to later change his story. This inconsistency really bugs me, and I can’t help but wonder how thorough the police were in questioning everyone present that night. Was pressure placed on these friends, or was there anything off about their relationships with both Sandra and her boyfriend? I truly feel for Sandra’s family; not knowing the truth for so long must be unbearable. I hope whatever happened with that roommate's changed story can lead to more clues or perhaps a breakthrough. Sending all my thoughts to those touched by Sandra’s life.

Did anyone else dive into the "Suspicious Suicides" series from The Oklahoman? It's unsettling how Sandra’s case and Holly Sjostrom's death align with such eerie parallels. I feel deeply for Sandra’s family – it must be incredibly difficult to wrestle with these open ends. Her boyfriend’s connection to both cases and the roommate's conflicting statements must add a layer of frustration and pain for them. It's like every new detail adds more confusion rather than clarity. I guess I’m wondering if anyone here has insight into how cold case investigations usually operate. What usually prompts them to reopen a case? And has there been any recent movement on cold cases like these that had similar controversies? Knowing how these things can sometimes take years, I just hope they eventually find the answers they deserve.
