I’ve been following the Rafael Hernandez-Torres case, and one detail that really sticks with me is the use of cellphone records in the investigation. It just goes to show how crucial technology can be in solving crimes these days. Without those records, it might have been near impossible to track Rafael’s movements that night and link Medrano to the crime scene. I can only imagine how hard it was for Rafael’s family during the investigation, knowing their loved one’s last moments were being pieced together call by call. My heart goes out to them. It’s a reminder of how vulnerable our everyday routines can make us and how important it is to stay connected with our loved ones.
