Hi everyone, I’ve been following the James Coulson case closely since it happened, and I recently came across some details about the community's response that I found quite touching. After the tragic loss of Mr. Coulson in 2015, the outpouring of support for Ted's Hamburgers was remarkable. According to locals, customers and friends of the restaurant came together to honor his memory, organizing various events aimed at celebrating his life and legacy. One event that stood out was a tribute night, where people shared stories about James and his contributions to Tulsa, highlighting how much of an impact he had on those around him. It’s incredibly moving to see how deeply he was cared for and how his kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on many people in the community. I'm curious to hear from anyone who might have attended these events or has more to share about the long-term effects of his passing on the local community. It's times like these that remind us of the strength and unity in communities during such difficult periods. Sending thoughts to everyone affected.

I've lived in Tulsa for over 20 years, and hearing about what happened to Mr. Coulson was such a shock. I used to take my kids to Ted's Hamburgers every Friday after school, and James was always there with a smile, making everyone feel welcome. It's so surreal to think about how quickly life can change and how someone who was such a positive presence in so many lives was taken away so senselessly. One thing that stands out to me about this case is the role that community tips played in solving it. I remember hearing about people coming forward with information and helping the police piece everything together. It’s comforting to know that the community where James made everyone feel like a family member was able to come through and play a part in getting justice for him. Still, the whole situation is a painful reminder for small business owners about the lurking risks out there. I can only hope that by continuing to support each other, we’re honoring James’s memory in the way he would have wanted. Sending love to James's family and friends—your Tulsa family remembers him fondly.
