I've been diving into the details of Daultn Dickerson's case, and I keep thinking about that moment when Daultn and his friends made the brave, albeit risky, decision to try and help Reynaud's girlfriend. It's a decision that tragically cost Daultn his life, but it also says so much about his character and courage. It’s heartbreaking to think that what started as an attempt to protect someone turned into such a devastating event. The bravery of these young people trying to step in where they sensed something was wrong is incredibly touching. They were clearly driven by compassion, and it's such a tragic loss for Enid to lose someone who seemed to care so much about others. I can't help but feel deeply for Daultn's family, having to navigate the aftermath of his selfless act that ended in such a senseless loss. I hope they find some comfort in knowing that Daultn's actions were those of someone trying to stand up against violence. It's just so painful to see such a bright young life cut short under these circumstances.
