I’ve been following Cody Thompson’s case, and there's a part of it that always sticks with me—the impact it must have had on his friends who were at that party. I can’t imagine how traumatic and confusing it must have been for them. Being at what should have been a night of celebration, only for it to turn into such a devastating event, is just unimaginable. My heart goes out to everyone who was there and had to witness something so tragic. Losing a friend in such a violent way leaves such long-lasting scars. I hope they have found ways to cope and have the support they need as they continue to navigate life after all of this. Anyone else here who was a witness or knew someone close to Cody? How are they doing now?
