I wanted to talk about a less discussed part of this case—the involvement of Aviles' wife. It must have taken incredible courage for her to come forward and provide information that would ultimately lead to her husband's arrest. I can’t imagine the emotional turmoil she must have experienced, stuck between love and doing what's right. Her actions, though deeply personal, were vital for the investigation. It’s a reminder of the silent yet powerful roles people play behind the scenes in these tragic situations. Sending thoughts to everyone whose lives have been turned upside down by this senseless tragedy.
