I keep thinking about the community rallies and fundraisers that sprang up around Crista’s case. It's truly a testament to how deeply she touched those around her. I've read about how the Indian Women's Pocahontas Club and her church organized vigils and events to not only honor her memory but also support her family. It’s a small comfort to see how Crista’s compassion and kindness are mirrored back by those she spent her life helping. Can anyone who attended any of these events share what the atmosphere was like? It must have been incredibly moving to see so many people coming together in her name. Sending strength and love to Crista's family during this difficult time.
