I’ve been following the case of Keith and Glynn Williams closely, and I can’t help but feel a profound sense of injustice about how these events unfolded. Two brothers who were just trying to look out for their employees ended up losing their lives. It’s chilling to think how a seemingly routine task turned into such a tragedy.
Tulsa really felt the impact of losing two community-minded individuals like Keith and Glynn. They were more than supervisors; they were mentors and friends to so many. I can’t even imagine what their family has gone through during these years of legal proceedings and trials. At least there’s some solace in knowing that someone as dangerous as Smith is no longer free.
If anyone knows more about how Keith and Glynn were involved in their community or has stories about them, I’d love to hear it. Remembering the positive ways they touched others' lives might bring a bit of comfort amidst all this sadness.
Does anyone else feel a deep sense of frustration about how easily this could have been prevented? I've been following Keith and Glynn Williams' case and it all just hits so hard. They were just trying to protect their workers and it cost them their lives. It’s even more frustrating knowing Ondriel Smith had such a long history of violence. Nine prior felony convictions are no small thing. It makes me wonder about the broader system failures that allowed him to be out there, capable of committing such heinous acts. My heart goes out to the Williams family—they deserved so much better. It’s heartening to see justice served, but it’s bittersweet knowing it came after such a terrible loss. I hope this case sparks some serious discussion about changes needed to prevent future tragedies.
